At F&P, I was responsible for key engineering tasks for the further development and international growth of an online community with several million members:

• Developed Terraform modules (e.g. AWS EKS, AWS VPC, monitoring and logging)
• Migrating on-prem hosted services to the AWS cloud and Kubernetes
• Operated dozens of services in AWS/GCP, for millions of users
• Connected AWS infrastructure with on-prem locations via an AWS Transit Gateway
• Built and operated a scalable Gitlab CI/CD infrastructure in the AWS Cloud for the parallel processing of >200 CI/CD jobs
• Developed CI/CD pipelines with unit and integration tests, static code analysis, build processes, security scans and deployments for over 20 repositories
• Built and operated an application staging environment in Kubernetes on bare metal using Rancher for evaluation and later migrated to EKS to reduce costs and complexity
• Built a highly available and hardened HashiCorp Vault infrastructure, including auditable logs. Integrated Vault with GitLab CI/CD, RabbitMQ, SaltStack and other services for comprehensive secret management.

• Architected and developed software modules for internationalization (multilingual, translation workflow, technical SEO)
• Migrated on-premise hosted services to Kubernetes (AWS EKS) using Terraform and Helm
• Developed and operated a tracking solution based on Matomo, Kubernetes (GKE) and BigQuery for up to 600 req/s
• Improved the Docker development environment for company developers, allowing a seamless WFH experience during the Covid-19 crisis.

• Refactored and modernized the community profile feature set
• Optimizing the development workflow by migrating the shared remote development environment to locally running Docker containers
• Technical SEO analysis and monitoring to measure success using web crawlers, BigQuery and Google DataStudio
• Developed features to improve SEO visibility such as a new URL routing architecture

For the in-house SEO agency Octobo I developed custom-fit SEO tools for ecommerce websites of the Otto Group (e.g. baur.de):

• Designed and developed a web crawler with approx. 2000 nodes
• Worked with a team to provide a service for SEO text optimization
• Analyzed and measured performance of SEO measures with Exasol and Tableau

As a working student for Octobo GmbH, I was able to gain extensive experience in the areas of SEO analysis and optimization as well as web development in the e-commerce environment.

My tasks for InVerTec primarily relate to IT administration and the maintenance of the homepage, as well as the development of conference and project websites.

During my studies, I managed projects in the areas of web development, IT and media independently and continue to do so on a part-time basis.

Studied media engineering with a focus on software and web development.

As part of my bachelor's thesis, I developed and tested novel techniques for text and link masking. I technically analyzed the self-developed and existing masking techniques and examined their benefits. (Grade: 1.0)

Besides my studies, I found an additional challenge in the Formula Student Racing Team of the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg, as head of the non-technical department.
My tasks included: sponsoring, maintenance of the homepage, production of image films, 3D visualizations, public relations, planning of events.
In addition, I participated in the international Formula Student competitions in Great Britain, Germany and Hungary.
